Rumpshakers presents the Swamp Party, featuring dubstep and UK bass legend Loefah

November 4, 2016

Coming up November 12, 2016 - Keele Warehouse, Toronto

Toronto has a long rave culture history, but gentrification in the inner city has made it hard for organizers to host events that serve up the obligatory pulverizing levels of sound generated by a 40hz sound system without pissing off the locals.

Enter Rumpshakers, a company founded by Toronto drum & bass veteran Alan Lam aka Stranjah with the mandate of bringing back some of the original fundamentals of a ‘proper rave.’ Over the last couple of years, Lam and business partner Dusan Zivkovic have earned a reputation for throwing underground dance music events with high-quality sound and special effects in unique spaces.

Their upcoming November 12th fifth instalment on will feature dubstep and UK bass legend Loefah, alongside a team of the city’s best DJ’s, producers, artists and sound & light specialists. The event, which they’ve nicknamed the Swamp Party, aims to take their vision to another level by enlisting visionary artist Noir Basteast to transform an expansive warehouse space into an imaginary yet immersive swamp.

Location: Keele Warehouse (500 Keele St. Lot 101)
Date: Saturday Nov. 12th 10 pm
