Jennifer Cardini, Honey Soundsystem, Kris Guilty, YokoO, Nymra & Sofisticated, Seth Troxler, Alicia Hush, Vincent Lemieux and surprise guests this August at Piknic Électronik

August 8, 2017

Piknickers will have been wise to take advantage of last Sunday's day off, as Piknic Électronik returns this week with incredible programming for the month of August! There are some exceptional guests on the program and lots of surprises in store, so come early with a well-furnished picnic basket. You won't want to miss a minute!

Piknic #12 (August 13th)
Headlining the Solotech stage will be the one and only Jennifer Cardini(FR), whose Igloofest performance last winter had us dancing until we couldn't dance anymore. Imagine that same energy unleashed on a sunny summer day at Piknic! What's more, Jason Kendig and Jackie House, from Honey Soundsystem (US) are in charge of getting the party started. Meanwhile, All Good will take command of the Moog Audio stage with Gene Tellem (QC)'s atmospheric grooves and Kris Guilty (QC)'s musical discoveries. Finally, we'll end the day with a surprise guest! To find out who, you'll have to come see.

Piknic #13 (August 20th)
The 13th Piknic of the season will surely be a lucky one as we welcome YokoO (FR) from All Day I Dream to headline the Solotech stage. Double down with an opening set by the one and only Nymra & Sofisticated (QC) with whom YokoO has shared many a stage with. It's a winning combo for a guaranteed jackpot! The Moog Audio stage meanwhile, will once again be in the hands of a mystery artist, this time presented by Never Apart (NVA)! We don't want to spoil the surprise, but it'll be a memorable one.

Piknic #14 (August 27th)
Piknic wraps up the month of August in fine form along with its friends from MUTEK for an incredible day of forward thinking music. The Solotech Stage will welcome the Piknic debut of Seth Troxler (US), a Detroit legend and leading light at the vanguard of techno whose powerful electronic innovation will make for a can't-miss set of the summer. Prior to that, MUTEK programmer Vincent Lemieux (QC) will kick things off brilliantly with warm electronic soul. At the Moog Audio Stage, the day will begin with selections from the MUTEK Soundsystem, a collection of the festival's global roster of programmers. Their overview of contemporary sounds will then be followed by a live set by Alicia Hush (QC).

Join us! Let's dance under the sun every Sundays this August but make sure you save some energy. You will love what we've got in store for you this September and things will kick off with a major blast right from the start for the long weekend! Stay tuned for all the exciting details...
